Micromax Canvas Turbo Vs Canvas Knight

Micromax is finally releasing its maiden octa core processor powered handset –Canvas Knight. But old time Micromax fans and the company’s newly found fans are hailing the powerful Micromax Canvas turbo as the best mobile yet! Some even say that it shall be better than Micromax Canvas Knight. So then, it is natural that comparisons are made, analysed, and a scrutinizing study of both mobile’s features are made. So for all you gadget nerds and other people stuck in a dilemma of deciding between the two – here goes:

Let’s begin with the obvious and first noticed:

  1. Display: Canvas Knight has a comfortably big screen that is 5 inches FHD IPS with a resolution of a great 1920X1080 pixels. The density of the pixels is 443 ppi. On the other hand, Canvas Turbo’s display is also a wide 5 inches big screen with FHD CGS display that has a somewhat lesser resolution of 1080X1920 pixels. The density of the pixels is again slightly less with 441 ppi. In terms of display, it is almost a tie but Canvas Knight does have images that are slightly crispier.
  2. Battery Life: Canvas Turbo has a battery with 2000mAH at the end that looks pretty good. It can give you a standby time of almost 105 hours along. A talk time of 7 hours is what it promises. While on the other hand, Canvas Knight does better with a talk time of about 7.5 hours and a standby time of 175 hours. This is just a wee bit more than Turbo, but then when you need your phone to work that wee bit longer without charge, is when you will appreciate. The battery back-up is almost 40% more!
  3. OS and Processor: Micromax Canvas Knight is powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and has an efficient octa core processor, which runs with a frequency of 2GHz. This allows for more cores that will run your application simultaneously and this will not just improve the overall performance of the handset but also adds to the power efficiency. Micromax Canvas Knight, on the other hand, runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by quad core processor, which runs with a frequency of 1.5 GHz and is based on the chipset MT 6589T. Here, Canvas Knight wins hands down with no second thought!
  4. Camera: Canvas Turbo’s camera is of 13 MP and features LED flash, auto focus, and resolution of 1920X1080 pixels. The front camera has 5MP that works well for video calling and taking selfies. Canvas Knight’s camera is a 16 MP one with LED flash, auto focus, and a resolution of 3456X4608. The front camera is an 8MP one. Again, Canvas Knight scores higher.
  5. Storage: Canvas Turbo has an inbuilt memory of 16GB and 2GM of RAM. This can eliminate the use of external memory. Canvas Knight has an unbeatable 32 GB inbuilt memory with no option (and not needed) for external memory. Yet again, Canvas Knight scores here!

Final Verdict:

Canvas Knight reigns supreme and we predict it will successfully dethrone Canvas Turbo. The oct core processor, resolution, storage space, battery life, and camera features all point to just one final fact – the Knight shall conquer!
